It's wonderful to make such a pretty gown from the wedding dress, maybe embroider the baby's name and birthdate in the hem ... you can later add any brothers or sisters she may have. It's an old tradition. Lily is so sweet!

Beautiful! I made a couple baby blessing outfits from a wedding dress (for someone else...it wasn't my wedding dress), but yes, it was still hard to make that first cut!

What a beautiful dress for a baptism and what a wonderful place to get the fabric from. 98% of most wedding gowns are not ever worn again what a great use for it. Love it.
