Default First Finished Quilt

Wanted to share my first finished project. I started it early summer. I happen to see this pretty design on Pint ! Credit goes to Hyacinth quilt designs. It was pretty easy for a first quilt. I used a variety of cottons as well as batiks. I really liked the color combinations of the main fabric of butterflies. The woman that quilted it for me did an amazing job and I was pretty happy with the end result. I did a quick binding and also a machine embroidered label gifting it to a very close friend. Thanks for looking.
Carol

Carol, you did a wonderful job on your first quilt. I've made a pattern quite similar to that one. And you're right - your butterfly focus fabric is beautiful, and you did a great job pulling the colors out of it for your other fabrics. You should be very happy and proud of your efforts. I bet your friend is thrilled.

Carol, your first quilt is a real beauty! The butterfly fabric is neat too. Well done!

Amazing for a first quilt! It's so big! You have every reason to be proud and happy, and I'm sure your friend will love it.
