Paper piecing is not my favorite way of quilting either BUT that being said...you sure can make some beautiful blocks that way. You Mariners compass is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Very, very pretty. Thanks for sharing your success with paper piecing. Wish you liked it more, because it's a shame you won't be making more mariners compass' with this method.

It is beautiful! I commend you as so many have shied away from paper piecing. I always thought it was supposed to make the job easier but from what most are saying it appears that is not the case.

mariners compass is one of my favorite pattens tho I have only made a couple small ones. I absolutely LOVE your colors
