Thanks everyone for the comments. I used Simplicity 2617 for this purse. I made some modifications to the finished bag. I liked the straps from one view and the bag from another view. The bag came with the zippered pocket and I put a zippered pocket on both sides and then added the pockets on both sides.

I like that....nice colors. You did a great job learning on your new machine. I have never used those magnetic closures. How do you attach them?
