I can't take credit for the piecing of this top (although w/all the repair work I did I feel as though I could lol).

I bought it on line for a rediculously low price. When it arrived, it was easy to see why. The material is serious bargain basement fabric & the piecing was what I consider to be substandard.

I had forgot'n all about this quilt but I kept reading about everyone cleaning their sewing areas up which shamed me into doing a bit of straightening up of my own and I rediscovered the quilt hiding under a pile of batting remnants.

I'm getting ready to go on vacation and I didn't want to get in to any major projects so I decided to fixed up. I ripped out the areas I considered to be really nasty & fixed them up as best I could (about 6hrs of restoration/reconstruction). I'm wishing I had some before pictures, but I really didn't expect it to turn out so nice. It's amazing what a little TLC can do *giggles*

Every quilt has a story & this one has a happy ending *smiles*.
