Default Fist Quilt for 2013

I just wrote a whole thread with pic and it just disappeared. I will just post these few lines and see what happens. Here is the quilt that I am attempting to make.

Ok good, it worked. I bought this book and pp patterns by Sharon Rexford, only to find that this quilt was not in the book, how disappointing!

I had studied the quilt now and then and I knew it was pineapple diamonds and then also pineapple square blocks. I printed out a 14.5 pineapple pp block from Block Base and then added the extra lines that I needed to make a 16.5 square as it says in the book (for the other quilts). The reason I for the 14.5 size was to get the same width strips as the pineapple diamonds (I had to figure that one out). Now I am ready to do my own fairy quilt lol.

Here is a pic of the fabrics I picked and from those I will pull the one I will be using. the quilt goes from extreme dark to light. I picked dark blues, greens, purples and reds....for the lights, beighy pinks and lavender etc. The two fabrics in the red stack, one will be the ring and the other strip will be a zinger somewhere, I haven't decided yet. I will post pics as I go along.

I will make one diamond and one square to make sure.
