Your flamingoes made me smile--great colors, too. My favorite part is the bare feet at the bottom of your photo!

That is sew cute. I've never done a border like that either. Should try it someday.

I love the colors you picked for the background.....its really sets off the flamingos. You did a fantastic job of the quilt and I'm sure your friend will love it.

I love flamingos. I have a flamingo quilt kit on preorder for this spring. I've done flamingo pillows for our bedroom as it is decorated in a Jungle Theme.

hannahsmom,
I will be happy to share the pattern but I have to locate it. I made this quilt last summer & I will have to go through my quilt patterns. I'll try to make it quick!

I've looked but I haven't been able to find the pattern I made. I'm sorry & will keep looking, I'm sure it will turn up sometime! I have fabric for mine so I must have it here somewhere.
If you take a close look, you could draft it out on graph paper. It is just squares & half square triangles. For the legs I just sewed the squares together then added the pink & trimmed it to the correct dimensions. I hope that is clearer than it seems to me!
Sorry again & I will post it as soon as it turns up!

Well, I must agree with everyone! Those colors really go together well. Good work and beautiful design. ;)
