This is the second flip flop quilt I made - this one was for my best buddy's birthday. It's title is, "You know I love you!" Each flip flop is 2 1/2 inches tall with the blocks being 4 1/2 square cut. The sashing is cut at 2 1/2. I used 1/8 ribbon for the thong part of the flip flop. There are 110 pairs in the quilt. Each pair took over 30 minutes to hand applique, hence the reason for it's title! The first one I made was for my daughter, and uses 33/4 inch tall flip flops with 1/4 in ribbon. I will post that pix, when I find it.
