Default Floral Log Cabin Update

Between hobbling around with a pulled hip muscle and then the flu, I've been SLOWLY working on the floral log cabin blocks. I managed to get a total of 18 blocks done this past week. 30 still to go, but only the last 2 rounds on each of those. I'm actually looking forward to doing one of these in pastel, maybe yellows, reds & oranges, maybe peaches and blues, maybe??? Yeah, ummm...I think I"m hooked! AND already have lots of extra pieces already cut, leftover ends from the strips, so can see a LOT more lob cabins in my quilting future.

Anyway, here's where I'm at as of today!

So, so, so absolutely beautiful. I want to make one someday! Did you use a backing to sew them on?

Beautiful! I've been saving florals for the same purpose. They look so pretty together.

That is going to be a gorgeous quilt! I like this layout, too.
