What a pretty quilt!! Your quilting really does add a lot to it.

I also like quilting with variegated thread. Recently a friend of mine gave me a quilt to quilt that her mother had pieced. Her mother is recovering from a stroke, and her piecing was really pretty messy, as she is far from fully recovered. I asked her for permission to fix it a little, and ended up taking the borders off and the rows apart. Anyway, I made it as square as possible, and then quilted it with some variegated thread in same colors but darker than the fabrics in the top. It took the focus off of the uneven blocks and the quilt looked fine.
