Oh, your quilting is outstanding! I too took the course and got lots of good pointers. I'm currently working on a quilt that I had pieced fairly carefully and wanted truly beautiful quilting. Painful as it was, I followed Cindy's ESS recommendation (ditch every stinking seam) before starting the FMQ part. Even though my stitching was acceptable on my practice piece, when I was doing the actual design on the quilt I had lots of trouble. Couldn't make nice smooth lines, thread breakage (SOOOO frustrating), etc. I'm taking a break and plan to pick up the next parts tomorrow.

Maybe you want to do mine for me?

This is beautiful to see a project done from a class. I tend to get fed up listening to chit chat on videos. Must try to accomplish this standard .

True; I took this class to learn more about how to design for the pieces I wanted to quilt. I've been practicing freemotion quilting (FMQ) for over 3 years now, and for the first several months it was very BAAAAAAD! (Our cat and our daughter's dog have several of those first attempts to sleep on!)

Well your practicing has paid off. I can't seem to do that but know that I must make time for it if I want to move forward. Thanks for sharing
