After seeing and being impressed by the Folded Dahlia's I have seen on this site, I decided I had to try it. Belive me, if I can do it, anyone can. After making the dahlia, I had to decide what to do with it. I decided to use it as the front on a tote bag. The entire project took about 1 1/2 days. A second one would be much faster. The tote bag pattern was new to me also.

Oh My Word. What a fantastic bag. I've toyed with the idea of making the folded Dahlia, now I know I must do one. Hope you don't mind it I "steal" your idea.

Very beautiful, great color choices, great idea and great job. I made a folded dahlia pillow years ago from a kit, it came all apart when I washed it. Maybe I didn't do it right.
