This chicken is done with reverse applique which was the challenge technique for last month.

We get our new technique at our meeting this evening.

Your Chicken is adorable was it hard to do?

Thanks! It was surprisingly easy once I figured out how to do it.
I traced around the chicken and drew the outline in pencil on the back of the fabric. The I cut out the shape, leaving about 1/4 inch inside the line to sew on. I machine appliqued it all around the cut-out shape.
