Font-Tastic quilt (my version) finished for new baby

Finished this off today, except for the label...baby is coming any day, but I'm waiting for official notice of name and date to add the label then it's off to my DGD and her hubby as they welcome their new addition. This was fun to do. Fabrics from Michael Miller Fabrics.

Very pretty. The ABCs makes it look a little cool vintagy-like.

I think that your quilt is fabulous! Now, I do not want to be a jerk or anything...but I could not locate K, L or O....am I just being blind (which believe me, my eyesight can be tricky) or did you deliberatly leave them out? Truly, I do not want to cause any bad feelings.

You are right ....not on this version...had I made the quilt wider it would have got included...I followed the directions and what you see is what you get. It's for an infant, who can't read anyway ...glad you liked it.

Did you have to fussy cut each letter for your side borders? Great job. Love your color choices and your backing fabric. The new parents will be thrilled, I'm sure. Thanks for sharing.
The bad news is - time flies.

Three great words to describe this little gem --- darling, bright & happy! I love it! And I'm sure your DGD & her family will, too!

You will be surprized at how fast the new one begins to pick up on the letters. If your granddaughter keeps showing and telling the baby what the letters are. The quilt is great and really cheery. It will be well loved by the whole family.

No just had to cut the fabric in two different directions to get the result. thanks for looking.
