Red face forgotten quilt finally finished

Here is a quilt that was handed into our local hospice that was found in the home of someone who had passed away. With the help of my craft circle I've finished it. When we came to take out the card templates . they had things like 7shillings and eleven pence on. For those who don't know british money. this means they were pre decimal which came in in 1971. So this quilt has been over 30 years in the making. I hope you agree we've done a pretty good job and are lucky retro designs are in fashion as we are going to raffle it to make money for Farleigh day hospice in Maldon Essex. UK.

Pretty quilt, and great job! I love that every quilt has a story, and we know this one goes back a long way.

Very pretty, and worth several Crown at least

Maldon ... I think I've been through there. My husband grew up in Loughton (where the M11 & M25 meet).

I love those colors. It is a great finish.
It makes me feel happy to know that this quilt has been finished.
I do hope it gets a home where it is appreciated.
It would be nice if your story was known by the winner of the quilt.
Perhaps a label with that info could be attached to the back.
