Default 3 dimentional bowtie

Here is what I made for my Doctor that is moving to Portland, She love pink .

The bow tie is the 10 minute block... really went together fast and makes it 3 dimensional... I really love the way it turned out..... This one is 20 inches square.... I see a mini in my future

I'm sure she will remember you with many smiles.
I enjoy doing this block too.

Yes 3D bowtie is fun to make, I was 1st introduced to this pattern while volunteering for our guild show they organize every 2 years... I volunteered in the demo area.. Being new to quilting and the guild was perfect project for a no ability quilter... Made a few after, and show any new member that joins me at my table... They are impressed to learn this technique.. Which reminds me I have lots of 2.5 inch in my man cave.
