I love them!! I recently purchased the book on how to do them, so that is one more thing on my wish list of things to do.

Very pretty! A friend gave me some fabric that looks justlike that. She had some in poppies, some in iris's, and I think there was also some in sunflowers. I am taking the poppy and cutting it out to put on another fabric and then "thread painting" it. That fabric was so very nice...loved the look and feel of it which I would say was real quality fabric. My friend has done some gorgeous work with fabric like that....very artistic. Sure mine won't be as gorgeous as hers but I will have fun with it. TYhere is a blue iris which she also gave me that I love but thought I should first practice on one I wasn't as crazy about. Funh to try different forms of creativity with fabrics.

The wavy border looks great. I like each of your edge finishes.

Cannot wait to see your quilt. I'm always interested in learning/seeing a new way to do something. I've never tried thread painting. Its on my list of things to try soon.
