Oh I'm like that Omak - I find going in the left direction harder than going to the right! I had to get the brain around doing these in a different way to the feathers I've done before, but sorted that out although I used tons of paper practising!

That changed the whole look of your table runner. It was great before but now it's awesome. I have to get that book. Thanks for the heads up.

oh, Miss wendiq! If you practice drawing the pattern, you will be able to do the feather on a quilt quite easily!

Here is a tutorial ... part of not wanting to try feathers is not understanding the basic motion, where to start, etc .... this tutorial helps take a lot of mystery out of doing feathers. We will be looking forward to your success! <wave>
That's the way I have been using - but find the "hooked on feathers" easier and you dont have to go over any previous lines.

Nice job. I always say the quilting makes the quilt. The feathers are wonderful.

I agree that your feather construction is really nice and easier, but I just wanted wend to see the beginning construction ... at least that is where I had the problem ... how to start! LOL <wave>
