Default French Braid Tree Skirt

Here's my Christmas quilt for this year, from "French Braid Obsession", a book by Jane Miller.

This is my first attempt at a French Braid; and I'm pretty happy with it. Quilting is just SITD, and I used a decorative stitch to create the lines in the outer triangles.

That's gorgeous! I want to make a tree skirt someday but just seldom get around to making things for myself. I need to break that bad habit. I like your decorative stitches. Looks like you used a glitzy metallic thread.

That’s neat! I like the gold stitches you did in the triangles- great use of decorative stitches!

I am in awe of your beautful work. I tried to make one using 60 degree triangles one year. It was presentable, but not near as beautiful as yours.

Great tree shirt. Your straight lines really show up good.
