beautiful quilt.....and nicely done. I don't think I have ever seen this pattern. I'll be watching to see if anyone knows the name.

It looks familiar but I can't think of the name. Maybe it doesn't really have one -- maybe his family member just made it up. So I say make up a name. And p. s... I love it & wish I did know the name of it so I could make one! Write up a tutorial?

It kind of looks like a signature quilt except that the colored should be the lighter color, and people then sign it.

Mona Marie, I think you are right. The original pattern may have been for signatures BUT this one is a jewel of a quilt. Perhaps just using up scraps.


Calicocat, this is a beautiful quilt and for whomever....A family treasure!
