I have no idea of a name but it looks simple enough Cut a rectangle, slice it cattycorner and add a strip of fabric at an angle .. Well I know what I mean. LOL, Then I would just cut it down to the size I wanted the block

I cannot measure it, The quilt picture is from a friend in Tenn and the picture was sent to him by a relative living I don't know were. But I bet you could do it anyway.

You know as soon as I read your answer I said to myself, Self that is exactly what it is, a signature quilt made with scraps. Thanks a ton. I will be posting another quilt from another friend today. I must look like the quilt block expert! HA.

Just finished blocks similar for a signature quilt for family reunion. We each took a 6 in piece of muslin and attached charms (5 in) on opposing end and sewed on the diagonal. Easy peasy for everyone to do. Would post pics but sent blocks to sister who will do all the assembly.

I think it looks great! But I think this can easily be made by sewing three strips togetherand taking say like an x-block ruler and cutting them at an angle. then you have your slant but also a straight block..if that makes sense? It's the same technique as the lil twister.

I did this on EQ7 and it looks like yours. This may show up twice because I don't know what I'm doing or trying to figure it out. Love the quilt

Here's my version from EQ, along with a PDF of the rotary cut block. Hope this helps!
