I really like the double star, I don't think I've seen that before. Sorry can't help with the quilting part.

The star blocks are each 12" with the border at 3" (finished). I have enough of the blue fabric for the backing. And the red would be cute for the binding and echo quilting is maybe all it needs....Thanks! :D

very good i also would stitch a 1/4 in a way enjoy hand quilting this like to see the result after done

Good thinking to leave it at the one border. I did one similar to that and put a small first border in red, a second in blue, and should have stopped there because I put a third in the lighter color I used and hated it. I ended up putting a small blue binding after that and said "good enough".

Yours is very cute.
