That Singer is just like the one my mom had that I learned to sew on. A great machine!

When I was six, I learned to sew on a machine very similar to your Singer, just a few years older. My mom was very careful to keep it cleaned and oiled. She was still using it in the 90's. It was better at stitching metallic thread than my new Pfaff. Hope you had the attachments included with yours. the ruffler is awesome.
