Garden Lattice and Mariner's Compass

WOW! They are both beautiful quilts. Maybe you need to tell your Mother-in-law that you want her to use it for a lap quilt-she may have been afraid to use something so beautiful when you gave her the 1st one.

The mariner's compass I entered in Rhonda's competition, and I was suprised and pleased that I won. (Thank you to everyone that voted for me and to Rhonda and Patrice for all your work with these competitions)
This is hand pieced using the freezer paper method while waiting for the kids at their various activities so I called it "Take Me Home"

Love the Garden Lattice. Just the pattern I was looking for to make my personal quilt. Couldn't find one like it so ended up ordering a different one. Last night!!! lol of course.
The star is lovely. I admire anyone who had the patience to do all those points so perfectly.
