Shared in another post with a different topic, but I'm just so proud of my baby finally taking interest in quilting. Sure hope she keeps it up! She wanted to quilt BEFORE homework last night, and it took all that was in me to say no. Been sitting on the couch together quilting at night in front of the TV. I'm SEW happy.

Andrea, you were one of her inspirations to try it out, as were many of the other awesome wholecloth handquilters here.

She is so cute, and it looks like she has the "bug".

She's got the hang of it that's for sure.
Quilting as an incentive to get homework done, now that's a teacher's dream.

Sure wish I could sit like her. LOL

One of the great things, is she's actually making this little project for my new sewing room. :) I'll keep it forever.

AWWW! So nice to know another generation is coming up! She's just adorable, and the younger we start, the more it stays with us!

Fantastic-you are teaching her a real life skill she can enjoy for "forever"! My grandaughter is 13 and is a good little sewer, but I'll have to introduce quilting.
