What a wonderful idea! My husband used to be a police officer and he has collected patches from all over the United States. His mother had them mounted and framed on a mat under glass. The mat is kinda getting faded. Wonder if I could convince him to let me make a quilt like this for him. It is a wonderful quilt and I know it will raise alot of money.

Thanks for all the nice compliments. The quilt was delivered today. They were so appreciative and proud of the badges displayed. Most of all, the firefighters loved the Maltese Crosses in the back of the stars.
