    Getting the hang of this

Hello! Here are a few pics of some of the things I've been working on. I'm new to the sewing machine, and to quilting. I haven't given up yet, and keep plugging away. And I love it! My first, large quilt was inspired by my MIL who made a similar in blues and whites for our bed. Our DD decided she wanted one too, in pinks and greens. Then I decided to try some smaller quilts and table runners. I'm working on learning stippling and free motion quilting. I've got so much to learn and am grateful for all of the wonderful information and tips I've learned here!

Your quilts are all lovely! You are a quick learner and you've been bitten by the quilting bug!

Love them all, but very partial to the stars and the one I think is the Single Wedding Ring (although it has several names). Very nice quilting also.

You may be NEW to "this" as you put it, but you're making beaaaaaaautiful quilts! Love the fabrics... for some reason the bubble (or dotted) white fabric in the Christmas runner really tickled my fancy as did the feet sticking out from under the pink quilt.

You ARE a quilter... beautiful work!!
