This is a quilt I am making for my DGDs troop to sell chances on. They are raising money for a trip to Australia next year. This quilt will have a label commemorating the Girl Scouts 100th anniversary next year. It will have batting made from recycled bottles. I will post it when finished too, this is just the top.

It looks great! Hope the troop makes lots of money from it.

OO! I would love that! or at least some of the fabrics with the Scouty text on ...

Where did you get it from? and for that matter could I be very cheeky and ask you if you have any scraps left that you are not likely to use?

A cheeky Scouty ...

Nice! How sweet of you to donate a quilt for such a good cause! I've been a Girl Scout leader for 13 years! Thanks goes to you for donating your time, talents and pocket book to benefit her troop!

Unfortunately, I don't have much of some of the pieces left. They also want pillows made to sell. Robert Kauffman is having issues with the licensing and Girl Scout Assn. so there will be no more GS fabric from Kauffman. This was told to me by the buyer at the store where I got it. So if you find GS fabric buy it.

Very unlikely here in Sweden! but thank you so much for replying to me ...
It's a shame as some of those with the 'motivational phrases/virtues' on them could have wider uses other than just Scouting.
Still, I guess licensing trumps promotion in this case ...
Thanks for replying, Helen

Really cute quilt. I was a Camp Fire leader for 18 years but I still love the scouts. Our church sponsors several troops
