Thank you for all the great comments! I love to give quilts to those who really appreciate them. My daughter's girl scout leader is one who does appreciate hand made things. It certainly does my heart good to see the smile on her face. I know she will love and cherish it forever. My daughter wrote a note to her which is written on muslin on the back of the quilt. :-)

Thank you for sharing your quilt! What a great idea, where did you find the pattern at? I am a leader for my daughter's troop (4 years now) and I purchased a fat quarter pack last fall and I still have not figured out what pattern to use to make a quilt for my daughter! I bought yardage of the GS cookie fabric for our Cookie booth tables, it was a great touch and helped with sales!

I used the yellow brick road pattern. If you google the pattern name, you will find places to buy it. I really love that pattern.

What a nice gift! From the heart, and so appropriate for all that work. My sis in law worked at the council as cookie chairman for years, and they made her one as she retired. It is a beauty also, but not made from the GS fabrics.
