I finally got around to making a bag. The pattern is called the Veranda Bag and I'm pretty happy with it. I'll probably make some more! Just one of many summer projects that this school teacher finally has time to make! (Well, until my aunt and uncle arrive from Joplin tomorrow. We have invited them to stay with us until they can buy a new house to replace the one that the tornado demolished...they call themselves homeless refugees.)

Cute bag. I love the cat quilt. Are the cats fussy cut or did you applique or even embroider.

Very generous of you to take in your aunt & uncle. So glad for all of you that they are safe. As the saying goes, houses can be rebuilt, people can't.

Love your bag and your kitty quilt. What pattern is the kitty quilt? Enjoy your time with your aunt and uncle.
