When I started quilting and had no stash I did my 1st quilt a T-shirt quilt with my daughters t-shirts. Came out pretty good. Was way to big to quilt my self sent it out to a long arm quilter here in town.

My daughters t-shirts

This was a quilt I made for a friend who lost a companion after 48 years and could not part with the shirts.

This was such good fabric, Polo, Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and so on, that I made one for his puppy who still drags it around everywhere he goes.

Great quilts---I love that you used the part of the shirt with the pockets---neat detail!

All the quilts look great. I've not done a tshirt quilt yet, but plan on doing so with my son's shirts.

I particularly love the other two. Very touching -- 48 years is a long time. After looking at the pictures a second time I noticed that you did the pockets of the shirts. I love the look and I'm sure it means a lot to him.
