Default Good Dogs Too

This quilt came from a panel (which I cut apart) called Good Dogs Too by Connie Haley. In the wide green inner border I quilted names of the many dogs that I or someone in my immediate family has owned. I gave the quilt to one of my daughters, who knew most of those dogs.

That is cute. Did you freehand stitch the names? I did the Grands names in a summer quilt for picnics and it looks like a child did it!!! That is a skill. Great job!

I love dogs but I can't own one. Allergies prevent it. I have two wolfhounds that live next door that love me and and mind when I ask them to stop barking. All dogs know who loves them and who is mean. I love your quilt though.

By the way, the wiener dog pillow in my avatar is in honor of a little gal dog who used to live next door to me. She always wanted to come home with me. Daphne was her name.

That's a really fun, happy quilt. I love all the dogs names quilted into it. I bet your daughter loves it.
