    Hey guys,

Thanks for all the wonderful compliments but Charisma deserves most of the credit. I did not use a pattern, I had some 2 1/2 strips and I sub cut them into 2 1/2 inch squares and made some 4 patches, then I just added some strips around the 4 patches kind of like log cabins. No rhyme or reason, just jumped in and did it.

Love the color in this quilt and the quilting gives it great texture and interest!!!! Charisma is a wonderful LAQer!!! I can hardly wait to get the binding on the one she just quilted for me. I plan on posting a picture on my bed when shams, pillowcases and quilt is finished!!!!

I think you should take it for a test drive....curl up on that swing with the quilt and take a well-deserved nap! =)

I can see why you would have trouble giving that away. Love your color and fabric choices. You are blessed to have a piece quilted by Charisma. She is such a talent.

Well heck what is left to say but......ditto to all that has been said. You have an eye for color placement. You both did an excellent job on this quilt . Lucky friend. Are you by any chance looking for another friend. I am available, and I do love a swing. BrendaK

Really beautiful colors, I would be tempted to keep it too! So bright and cheerful, really nice work!

When Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, he tried over 2000 experiments before he got it to work. A young reporter asked him how it felt to fail so many times. He said, "I never failed once. I invented the light bulb. It just happened to be a 2000 step process."

Your quilt is gorgeous and the quilting really sets it off. I can see why you would want to keep it. Maybe you should make one for yourself.
