Lots of talent and hard work went into those pieces. You created a wonderful work of art.

Both are very nice but really like the tree on the winter one.

I'm really new at quilting and I'm curious about the flower quilt. It appears some sort of covering was centered over the flowers and may I ask how you did that?

I first painted a piece of muslin (doesn't matter what you use) the flowers and back ground. When you are happy with it, you slice it to the size you like before adding a boarder. Note: you want to slice into the flowers. After adding a boarder, find fabric from your stash that works well with the incompleted petals. I think I added some misty fuse under the additonal fabric petals. Free form cut the flower petals that hang over the edge and iron or sew down. It gives it a added texture.

I found it: Donna's web link. I am not sure if the contact numbers are up to dates, but there is always the email. Also just fun to look at all her beautiful pieces.
