Here's the quilt I decided on to make for our new log cabin. It's the Goose Tracks Log Cabin design. I have just started on it and thought I would share a completed block. This will be my first paper pieced quilt. I am excited.

Beautiful!!!! I am making DH a simple quilt using that same line, but with charm packs. I hope to someday get the courage to try paper piecing.

Thanks Ladies. I thought the Holly Taylor fabric was well suited for the cabin. I will be sure and keep you posted on my progress. I am fairly new to quilting so it will probably take me a while.

    Sherri,
Thank you. You should try paper piecing.. it is awesome! It's easy too. I have a problem with getting things sewed straight so the paper piecing works great for me... I am totally hooked on it. Give it a try. There is tons of sites that have free patterns to print off and try.
