Hi Karla,
Your quilts are just beautifal and your color choices are spectacular!
I'm fairly new to quilting and would like to know 'what is a Talk About Quilt?' I've never heard of it and when I googled it got no answer.
Thanks for sharing you photos...

Aww--thanks Dona, and everyone...

Dona--the "Talk-About-Quilt" is one I created (sort of--it has common patterns)--it's an educational quilt for infants-age 4ish. I have a photo of it on my website--on the quilts for sale page. I made a brochure to go with it too.

Thanks for asking. :-)

Karla,
What a fabulous idea! And very clever. Thanks for the explanation.
All the quilts on your web site are lovely as are your little mini horses!
I've only made about 15 quilts and AM learning more with each one. Most have been for gifts and I sold 3!! WooHoo!

Karla, great job on the two quilts. You put us all to shame. Do you ever sleep? With your hores, gardening and making quilts, I just don't see how you find the time!! Keep the pictures coming. You inspire me.

I squeeze quilting in where I can--I call it stealing moments. I don't want to shame anyone. :( I know that's not really what you meant though.

I do sleep. I was blessed with a high energy level--and to have the opportunity to fill my days with kids, horses, and teaching..well, I am very blessed indeed. Now that school is done I'll start running 2 miles 4-5 times a week. I like to run.

"Bored" is the "b" word with me... never happens.
