Recently I talked about working on a photo memory quilt and all the problems I was having. Well, I am happy to say - it's done!!!! I have never been so glad to be finished with a quilt!!!
I guess it turned out ok, but I am still bothered by the photos I was given to put on it... it's supposed to be a high school senior quilt, but to me it's a "family photo quilt". I think because of that, my heart just wasn't in making it and I had problems every step of the way. It is a QAIG quilt and it was definately a learning experience. I hope my grand nephew likes it when I give it to him in July.... I know his mom will, it's really for her I am sure.

Wow, that is fantastic :!: :!: :!:

What a wonderful way to remember a special event.

You did a fantastic job! It's beautiful. Love the photos and the fabric!

I don't agree that it is not a graduation quilt. It is the beginning of a new part of his life and to have this as a special memory is wonderful.

I think you did a wonderful job on the quilt. I agree it doesn't look like a graduation quilt, but maybe it's what he wanted. It's beautiful and thanks for sharing with us.

If he has any smarts he will not let his mom have it and will cherish it FOREVER.
