The quilting pattern is from sweetdreamsquiltstudio.com. The Celtic Quilter at Quiltworks in Cypress can download these designs and program them into her LAQ. When you need a new quilting idea, this website is awesome.

Well, We made it thru Graduation Ceremony (1200 grads) and DS got his pirate quilt. He loved it. It went on his bed and hasn't come off. He even made his bed the first day, but that didn't last long.

WOW! What a fabulous quilt - and a handsome son! Good luck to him in the future!

Great work! Tell us about the skull - did you paint it? And I love your DS's date's dress too.

I purchase the skull iron on at the IQA in Houston. The website is www.stensource.com/creativeiron. If it doesn't come up, do a search for The Creative Iron. The skull and crossbone is under "for the boys" on the left. It is laser cut and ready to iron on. My LAQ was amazed at how well the applique was on the fabric. She has had trouble with other customer quilts in the past. The appliques are 100% cotton.

I'm taking this quilt for Show & Tell at Quilt Guild tonight. 100-150 quilters, the pressure is on.

You have nothing to worry about your quilt is so awesome. I hope you do not mind but I saved a picture of it for my computer desktop. My 14 year old grandson will just fall in love with it.
