What beautiful embroidery skills! I hope that these skills are being passed on to the future generations. It would be a shame to lose new samples of this kind of hand thread work. You have a family treasure.

what a beautiful rememberance both to your aunt when she was lonely after leaving her friends and to you now that you have possession of it. its too bad some of the "old traditions" are "old" and we don't see them very much any more. thank you so much for taking the time to share this with us all!
