Welcome to the Quilting Board!
Beautiful! love the colors and the stitching.. =)
beautiful
I love working with hexagons and have done several projects with them. I'm working on a diamond design now that will be a throw when finished. They do take a while to finish but hexagons are a great project to do while watching TV or traveling. Easy to pack up in a zip lock bag or small plastic tub container.
Your quilt is just beautiful and you did a wonderful job on it, I love the shades of blue. My favorite color.
That is super, extra beautiful and a quilt to be treasured. I love it~ Mary M
That is simply BEAUTIFUL!!! I love the blue and white. Like the old dishes. It would take me longer than 7 months to do something like that!!!!
That is just beautiful! Love the way you finished ther bottom border. Clever!!
Grammakitty pretty much summed up what I was thinking! I love your colors! Really nice work! It's my favorite pattern.Originally Posted by grammakitty
Wow, that is a beauty. I love the colors. I'm doing a scrappy one and it is my take along sewing. It will take me forever. Great job and yours and thanks for sharing.
OMG.
I have a collection of blues that I sort of had a Delft feeling for, with no particular pattern in mind,
and I am going to keep your quilt in mind when i make up my blue quilt.
VERY NICE.

No - not handstitched ---- those are a decorative stitch on my sewing machine. It was not easy to move from petal to petal to stitch it....it really wore me out to quilt this one by machine. I thought about hand quilting it, but was ready to finish it up and move on to other projects. Besides --- I broke GFG tradition by using just 2 colors so I didn't want to do the traditional stitch in the ditch either.Originally Posted by sylviak
Thanks! I spent a lot of time thinking about what to do with the borders....... Wanted the edges straight but not boring. :DOriginally Posted by clem55
Very pretty. My favorite colors are blue & white. This is the first one I have seen in just 2 colors.
Your quilt is beautiful. I just love Blue!
I love the colors - so relaxing, yet interesting.
Very pretty! I love the blue and white.
I love it. I'm doing a grandmother's garden quilt with pink and blue elephants in the flowers with batiks as the background. I REALLY hope it doesn't take 7 months. I'm doing paper piecing to get it together and it's going very quickly so far. I don't think I would do it if I weren't paper piecing.
I'll post when I'm done.
