It measures at 46 x 56, still not sure how I'll be getting it quilted. I haven't learned how to machine quilt yet, so I'll need to have someone else do it for me.

Unless you are not interested in quilting it yourself you should give it a try. There are plenty of books out there but save your money. Cut your bottom layer at least two inches wider and longer than your top. Put the batting on next. Lay the quilt top on the other two layers and pin together. I always pull at the bottom layer to make sure it doesn't have any wrinkles in it. After you do a few quilts it becomes easier. You can outline stitch it. Hope you give it a try.
