Default Grandson's Quilt is Finally Finished :-)

I started this quilt last year and wanted to finish it for grandson's 2nd b-day, but that didn't happen...His 3rd b-day is in a few days and it is finished just in time for that....it is about 57" x 70" so he will be able to double up in it pretty good......The front is work trucks, (which I got the fabric from #1piecemaker)...... and the back is football players... He's gonna love this quilt.....he's a big fan of big trucks and loves football....will probably like the back better then the front.... :-)

One really nice thing about this quilt is that it isn't baby-ish, so he will continue to love it as he grows older.

Your DGS's quilt is great, both back and front. A few years ago I made a Warm Wishes quilt for my DS using music-themed fabrics (and mitered borders -- THREE ROWS!). On the back I tried my hand (and machine) on large guitar appliques of profiles of his own guitars. Well, you got it -- he shows the back of the quilt. Oh well. I did tell him which was the front. LOL
