Default Great Christmas Gift

Right before Christmas my “quilting buddy” and I were shopping at JoAnn Frabic when she spotted a sign by the thread bin. At first she thought the sign read a dollar off on the original price of the thread, which was around $3.29 per spool. But instead the sign read a dollar apiece!! These spools of thread have 3,000 yards in each of them. If it hadn’t of been for her noticing it, I would never have seen it. I loaded up my pusher cart!!! When I got home I told my husband, “Look what you got me for Christmas!!!!!” I’m in quilter’s heaven!!!

What a great deal! I'd love to find a similar deal -- I could stand to add to my serger thread at that price . Alas, no JAF here in south Texas.

I think it's serger thread. Some serger threads are not strong enough for piecing. Before you use it, take about an 18" piece & see if you can break it with your hands.
