Thread: green and brown triple irish chain

    My mom asked me to make her some lap quilts to put in her cabin in northern Wisconsin, so this is the first one that I made today. It is a triple irish chain and is about 56" x 56". I still have to quilt it, but I won't do that for a couple of weeks. I have enough of the fabric leftover so I will either make another one, or maybe try a different pattern.

    wow that is a one day quilt? I won't even admit how long that would take me to do :(

    Very nice - I love Irish Chain quilts and have wanted to do one for a long time. Started it last Friday and love your colors so much I think I'll do a green one too.

    Good colors for your Mom's cabin quilt. Isn't the Irish chain pattern quick and easy.
