That is my second favorite Dr. Suess story and you did a fantastic job. I am so glad you are keeping it AND keeping it out all year!

Love it and what a good idea on the quilting! I used the same fabric 2 years ago for my son's family--quilted on my domestic machine way too late at night just doing a stipple. Was so bored/tired that I decided to quilt in their names and "Merry Christmas" in the stippleing. As they were admiring it I realized the "writing" was upside down!

What a great idea to quilt the story. I am a retired 1st grade teacher and I loved reading this book to my class each year.

What an amazing idea, to quilt it with the story! No wonder your kids checked so often to make sure it was staying. That will be a wonderful family heirloom.
