Many fabrics are suitable, but you need to get the book by Maxine Rosenthal, "One Block Wonders Encore". There is no way to figure this out without the book.

Here is my progress so far. I love making the cubes, but am not sure my fabric choices are right. I may have to buy some better coordinated fabrics... Let me know what you think. Placement of hexagons is so difficult!
