aren't the very elderly ladies a joy?? Their knowldge and love of quilting are what kept it alive during the years before we started to make it popular again. Our thanks and honor to them. I thought the quilt was amazing!! So many different patterns

Group quilts are the best!! The story makes it even better. This is one reason that swaps are so wonderful. One of my old Usenet groups did a swap like that. It was the greatest quilt ever. I still have that quilt and cherish it dearly.

Wow. The quilt is beautiful, and so is the story. How wonderful you can all work together. Hope the raffle makes lots and lots of money for the church.

It's beautiful! Who says that it has to be perfect to show love! I know it will be treasured by the lucky person who gives the winning bid! Thanks for letting us see it.

What a fantastic & beautiful quilt. It must have been a real joy to work with all the ladies who participated in this group project. I love the black background! Any other color would not have brought out the gorgeous colors of each star block. Thanks for sharing it with us.
