Default Gypsy wife Sect 5 start 6

I have finished Section 5 on the right and the Nurses Cross block from the large Section 6 on the left. ( 12 Sqr in a Sqr and 3 pinwheel blocks) Again somehow the Nurses Cross was 1/2" too small so I added a little border. *sigh* That block definitely needs to be paper pieced with all those tiny triangles around the edge! So glad I didn't lose any points when I added the border!

Such fun!!

Great blocks! I know on some of the blocks, and parts of the pattern there are corrections. Though I don't recall right now where to find them. Hope you can check them out~~

Yes, there are corrections but with the 2nd edition of the booklet they are said to be corrected. I'm making my own paper piece templates so I'm sure the errors are mine. Also there are corrections posted for the 1st edition and they seem mostly to be concerning the strips. But thanks!

Beautiful blocks. I usually make my outside triangles at least half an inch larger than called for, larger ones get an inch. That way the inside "floats". Then I can cut it to the correct size, carefully watching each point.

Love the blocks. Can you tell me what the blue background fabric is in the blue square in a square? It is just fascinating me. You are using a really nice selection of colors in your blocks, they all play nice with each other.

I am so glad I clicked on this link today, for you have given me an idea so that I can FINALLY get to one of my ufo's that has been patiently awaiting me and my inspirations. I have never heard of the Nurses Block and that is sure a beauty Kitsie. Very nice colors, very well done.
