i just made this for my 2yo, he has a thing for turtles. the pattern was pretty easy so it would be a good project for other beginners as well. it's a simplicity pattern. #2493 but i changed the eyes a bit. this was the third quilt i've made so far.

I had an older version of this pattern... made a puppy, and a kitten... serval times over.. it was fun and eay pattern!! this is so cute!

I just ran across this and although you posted the picture over a month ago, I want to tell you I think your quilt is neat. We are a turtle loving family and have 2 that have lived in our back yard for a number of years. I may just have to get that pattern for old time's sake!
