I've had so many questions about my mug rug that I thought I'd answer them this way. Thank all of you so much for the sweet comments, as a new quilter I really treasure them.
The block is 10" X 7", I used the smaller strips on a log cabin ruler. I now have a ton of strips! The cat was a free applique pattern that I found somewhere. I've searched the web and have not been able to find it again. And I can't seem to figure out the scanner. I'm so sorry. I know that there are a ton of cat appliques out there if you look. Sorry I can't be any more help. I just started putting strips together, I didn't have a set size in mind when I started. As a matter of fact, once I made the block I really didn't know what I was going to do with it.
